An enthusiastic audience, musical excellence, and exceptional artistic leadership are among the hallmarks that have made The Pasadena Symphony a major success. Music Director of The Pasadena Symphony since 1984, Jorge Mester, one of the world's most dynamic conductors, has created a relationship with his musicians that is unique; their shared passion for music-making is tangible both on stage and in the audience. According to the venerable Los Angeles Times music critic Martin Bernheimer, "Mester is a master." Whether or not you're familiar with the music, you'll be captivated as you listen to Jorge Mester and our accomplished musicians. Each concert presents fresh interpretations and electrifying performances.
