Holiday Look In Home Tour

This year the 33rd annual Holiday Look In Home Tour will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 2 and 3 from 10am to 4pm both days. Sponsored by the Women's Committee of The Pasadena Symphony Association, the tour features four area homes decorated for the holidays by professional florists and includes refreshments and a holiday gift boutique.

The boutique is open to the public and is located at the University Club at 175 N. Oakland Avenue, Pasadena. Vendors donate 25% of their sales to the Women's Committee, a volunteer organization founded in 1957 for the purpose of raising funds to help support the orchestra.

Tickets are $20 if purchased by November 20th, $25 thereafter, and can be obtained at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium box office at 300 E. Green Street, Pasadena, or by writing to the Women's Committee, P.O. Box 5053, Pasadena, CA 91115-1053 postmarked no later than Nov. 20 or by phone at (626) 793-7172, ext. 11 for Will Call pick up at the University Club. They may also be obtained at each of the homes on the tour during the event.

Please, no children under 12 and note that tickets, refreshments, and restroom facilities are available only at the University Club (Saturday and Sunday 9:30am - 4pm).

Festivities begin at 6:00 pm

The Annual Benefit will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2001 at the historic Biltmore Hotel. You may ask "Why a Tuesday?" And our response will be "Well, it’s Mardi Gras of course!!" Costumes, masks, silent auction, entertainment, bright colors, surprises, authentic New Orleans food, laughter, and excitement are words that come to mind as we describe The Pasadena Symphony’s 2001 extravaganza! It is sure to be quite the party and will help raise much needed funds for the Symphony. Mark your calendar–you don’t want to miss it!

Tickets to the Annual Benefit range from $250 per person to $7,500 for a table of ten with premier seating. For more information or to purchase tickets closer to the event, please call (626) 793-7172, ext. 13.

Celebrate the upcoming season at Vroman's. If you are interested in becoming a new subscriber, be sure to pick up a 10% coupon for your season tickets.
- A harpist will perform 11a.m. - 1p.m.
- An exciting story telling performance for kids will take place in the children's department at 2p.m.

The Pasadena Symphony is part of Vroman's Gives Back program. Symphony supporters sign up at the store registers. Each time they make a purchase, 1% is donated back to the Symphony. The Symphony receives approximately $1,000 per year through this program. Remember, shopping at Vroman's helps the Symphony, so consider browsing through its wide selection of books, unique gift items, and stationery.
