Endorsed by the NWPC

Dear Family, Friends and Supporters:

DianaThank you for your interest and support in the Peterson-More for Assembly 2000 campaign --"Independent Leadership for a Change". Our visibility is on the rise - I am pleased to report that our candidacy has garnered all of the endorsements from women's organizations. In addition to the National Women's Political Caucus and Business and Professional Women, we just learned this week that we have California NOW (National Organizational of Women) and the Women's Political Committee! It's an honor to have these groups -- which have worked so tirelessly on behalf of families, women and children -- endorse me!

VOTE FOR PETERSON-MORE ON MARCH 7th!
Since you expressed interest in our campaign, you can help out by sending the following letter to your e.mail list. The letter outlines my leadership style and platform issues. Spread the word to your friends and colleagues who reside in the 44th district: Sunland/Tujunga, Eagle Rock, La Cresecenta, La Canada Flintridge, Altadena, Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, Glendale, Montrose, San Gabriel and Temple City (the exact map can be found on this website).

When forwarding this e-mail, please include a short introduction to the letter in your own words, then send it on to people you know and who know you. Ask that they do the same. Please do not alter this letter since we are communicating a consistent message: random messages can hurt the campaign. Thanks for your effort in getting the word out to help elect Independent Leadership for a Change.

AN EXCELLENT REPLACEMENT FOR JACK SCOTT
Diana's experience, energy, and common-sense problem solving skills are exactly what the 44th district needs in the wake of Jack Scott's departure. Diana is a moderate Democrat who is our best hope for retaining this important seat against Republican Susan Carpenter McMillian.

Diana and ChildrenAN EXPERIENCED LEADER
Diana is an entrepreneur, an attorney, corporate executive, and a mother who has lived in the district for 25 years. With a strong history of community involvement, she is just the independent citizen legislator we need to represent us in the Assembly. Diana's blend of business experience and nonprofit/governmental service provides her with a valuable perspective on matters of public policy. Her tough-minded problem solving skills, combined with her independence and understanding of organizational dynamics, have been applied successfully to a wide range of organizations, from small community groups to major corporations. Now she is ready to dedicate those skills to working for us in Sacramento.

BALANCED PLATFORM
Diana's plan is simple and centrist: balanced business growth, responsible and responsive government, educational reform, an improved regional transportation plan, responsible family planning and public safety. Her positions reflect the values of our community--a community where she has proved herself to be an independent and vital force in improving the quality of life.

BROAD SUPPORT
Diana's campaign is flourishing. She has broad support -- Democrats, Republicans and Independents -- within the district, and is well on her way to building the solid foundation she needs to win. Check out her endorsements on this website, www.peterson-more-2000.com.
